A sixteenth century Florentine named Ezio Auditore Da Firenze made his first appearance in Assassins Creed II. His father and brothers were brutally executed before his eyes by the Templar Order. Ezio joined the Assassin Brotherhood to seek vengeance on the members of the Templar Order who are responsible for the death of his father and brothers.
Once Ezio has joined the Assassin Brotherhood, he would be part of many battles against the Templar Order for many reasons that have nothing to do with the death of father and brothers but for many strangers.
In Assassins Creed III, Ezio is trying to liberate Rome and destroy the influence of the Borgia, which is another name for the Templar Order. In Assassins Creed II Ezio is able to recruit future assassins that are originally rebels of the Borgia influence. These people that have been recruited will help you fight off the guards of Rome and help you assassinate leaders and many important people that must be killed so the Borgia influence is terminated and Ezio’s quest for vengeance is over.
The Templar order has always opposed the Assassin Order so the assassins will not get away with the things they do that easily, but when a man’s battles have been won, and his enemies have been destroyed, what now? Where would a man find his purpose and meaning?
Developer Ubisoft Montreal creates the last chapter of Ezio’s long journey with him traveling to Constantinople, the heart of the Ottoman Empire, in the search of the lost library of the Assassins. This journey will not be a stroll in the park due to the growing Templar army who is threatening to destabilize the region. Ezio will once again battle the Templar Order in Assassins Creed: Revelations to prevent this from happening.
